What I collect
When you fill in the collab form I receive:
- your name and email address
- your budget range
- anything you write in the message box
- whether you were booking Emily or Gigi
I don't ask for anything else and I don't buy or rent contact lists.
Why I use it
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage that project. The legal basis is legitimate interests (answering a business enquiry you chose to send) and, where we agree a project, taking steps to enter into a contract with you. I won't add you to a mailing list.
Who helps me handle it
- Resend delivers form submissions to my inbox.
- Google Workspace stores a copy of each enquiry in a private spreadsheet.
- Vercel hosts this site and provides cookie-free, anonymised visit statistics.
Some of these providers process data in the US. They do so under their standard data processing terms, which include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.
Cookies
This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Visit statistics are counted without cookies and can't be used to identify you.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are deleted after 12 months unless we go on to work together, in which case I keep project records for as long as UK tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to me using it. Email hey@editbyemily.co.uk and I'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
